Fix the finances. Fund the fix.
This is a district race and I've kept it that way. I signed on to Santa Clara's voluntary spending limit, and this campaign is funded by people, not organizations. If you're reading this, that's you.
Where it goes
Your contribution pays for the unglamorous machinery of a district campaign: the website you're reading, photography, a walk piece for every door in District 3, signs for neighbors who ask, and postage to reach voters who never open a campaign email. Nothing exotic. Every dollar is reported publicly, which is exactly how I think the city's money should work too.
If you've already given the maximum and want to do more, take a yard sign, host a coffee, or walk your own block. In a race this size those are worth more than money.

Make it payable to Eric Crutchlow 4 Council District 3 2026 and mail it to the committee. Include your occupation and employer if the check is $100 or more.

What the law requires
- There is a per-person limit Contributions are capped at $760 per person for the election, and the processor enforces that at checkout.
- Employer and occupation Required for anyone whose contributions total $100 or more in a calendar year. Retired, self-employed, and not-employed are all valid answers.
- No anonymous or cash gifts of $100 or more Give by card or check at that level, so the contribution can be reported.
- Your own funds only Contributions must come from your personal funds and must not be reimbursed by anyone else.
- Who can't give Foreign nationals, and corporations, unions, political action committees, or other organizations.
- Not tax deductible Political contributions never are, at any amount.
